What size wetsuit to choose?
Each brand has its own sizing chart so make sure to check each brand’s model before purchasing one. The most important factor is the weight, after that comes the height!
Wetsuit has to fit snug, but not too tight!
For example, 188cm/80kg (6‘2“/180lbs) surfer:
Billabong – L
O’Neill – MT
Rip Curl – L / LT
Xcel – MT (by height) / L ( by weight). It’s better to have a wetsuit that’s 1/2″ short in arms and legs, than a wetsuit that’s not snug!
Quiksilver – MT
Patagonia – MT
