1. About the brand

Started out in 2004, ISLE is an exemplary paddle board brand in the ever-growing SUP market. They’ve put their focus to reduce harm from their byproducts and support ocean conversion. These two are a must to succeed in the competitive paddle board business in 2022.

ISLE is a strong believer in the fact that paddleboarding offers one of the best remedies to improve both mental and physical wellbeing. Paddleboarding is indeed calming, relaxing, a low-resistant workout that lets you enjoy and appreciate the beautiful nature around you. Depending on which level and budget you’d like to perform – they have quite a good selection at an above-average price tag. ISLE stand-up paddle boards are noticeable for their thought-out design, and selected board types available. Their SUP boards come in a handful of main types, suitable for all skill levels and age groups. You’ll find compact inflatable, solid epoxy, and soft-top boards available. Even wooden finish is often found on premium boards.

We can’t also oversee one of the most important factors when buying a new SUP – their beautiful design. ISLE has done a great job blending in rather neutral and pastel tones that go along well with the neutral tones seen from the water. Priced at above-average, you are guaranteed to becoming a part of a large family of paddleboarders who appreciates their hard-earned time and money by the waterline.

What sets ISLE apart from other SUP brands?

  • Pastel & neutral tones.
  • Wooden finish on high-end boards.
  • Mid-range and premium boards only.
  • Durable construction for increased longevity.
  • Surf-specific and a 5-person paddle board available.
  • They’ve covered the main user group with premium products – in an inflatable and rigid form.
  • Gortex Vent Plug on all solid boards keeps the boards strong for longer periods of time.
A vent plug inside the board protects it from sudden temperature & pressure changes.

Available in 12′ and 15′ lengths, Megalodon is a multi-person SUP with a super high load capacity. Whether you need one by your lakehouse, spring break, or a yacht – you’ll have a hard time finding a better value board such as the Megalodon. At 8″ thick, these boards have the capacity to fit up to 3-5 people on one board. Not only does its job as an inflatable dock, but one can also actually get some workouts done with it. The Megalodon includes two 3-piece paddles.

As a downside, the package comes with only one hand pump which makes it more demanding to inflate (The volume difference is twice as big as found on regular inflatable paddle boards). Also there’s no carry bag to fit the Megalodon. It is recommended to use a roller-bag to carry this iSUP around.

All-in-all, multiple-person paddle boards are in high demand and we are glad to see a good-quality product by a trusted brand.

4. Conclusions

What to think of ISLE boards?

Among all the other paddle board brands, ISLE stands out due to its dedication for nearly 20 years by now. What we like is that they have specialized in the making of anything paddle board-related, and nothing else. The quality range is above average, and the selection of boards is made easy for the end-user. The choice is not too wide, therefore difficult to choose. ISLE is focusing on the widest target market with a handful of boards. They have found their way around on what to specialize, and have done it right.

Here is the conclusions on some of their best ISLE paddle board reviews:

isle sup reviews

We’d like to see more brands like ISLE – their motto and design don’t scream “We SELL paddle boards”, but much rather an offer of a premium product to realize your dreams. Durability & performance are guaranteed due to nearly two decades of experience. Will we see ISLE wooden sailboats in the future? Hopefully.
